What does it cost?
Nothing to join, nothing for leads, nothing to pitch. When you win a listing and it settles, you pay a referral fee on your commission: 12.5% standard, or 10% for founding agents, which is the first three agents in each suburb. Either way that is well below other comparison sites and lead sources. There is also a small monthly subscription to cover the running of the platform, not much more than a cup of coffee, and it never starts until you get a signed agency agreement with a homeowner.
Is this just a race to the bottom on fees?
No. We are for the homeowner, and the goal of the platform is to make appointing an agent easier by presenting everything they need concisely. We know the lowest fee is not necessarily best for the homeowner, because it can mean lower service quality and a lower sale price, and we educate homeowners about that throughout the platform. We also coach them to ask agents the right questions, because the key to a good outcome is choosing the right agent partner, not the cheapest one.
